On May 22-23, 2004, Troop 52 camped at Twin Pine Airport, Pennington, New Jersey.
We were working on the Aviation merit badge.
One requirement you can choose is to take a ride in an airplane.
Everybody chose that one!

Here's our plane, just rolled out of the hangar at
Trenton Mercer Airport.
This biplane is a 1930 Fairchild KR-21.

We finished our pre-flight inspection.
The KR-21 is fueled and ready to go.

Greg is all ready to go, too!
He got the first ride -- the hop from
Trenton Mercer to Twin Pine.

This is the view out front from the KR-21.
Seems like there's a lot of engine up there.

We're approaching home.
Too bad there's no airport in Cranbury.
It sure was a beautiful day for flying around central New Jersey.
